Service and SupportService of equipment has always been a necessity and in some cases quite an expensive necessity. When a breakdown occurs it is always a rush to have a repair executed as soon as possible. For a customer on Contract, it entails the calling out of an engineer to site which could be many miles away and the cost of this travel time together with the time spent on site is repeated every time there is a breakdown. The engineer will often find that he does not have the requisite parts to effect a repair and then must return to base and complete the repair on his next visit. The DX or document exchange, provides an alternative. Considering that the DX service guarantees delivery by 0900 hours the next morning, it makes good sense to send your faulty machines to us via DX. On receipt, we examine the units, diagnose the fault, carry out the necessary repair, test, and return the machine, usually on the same day to the customer. Spare parts, testing equipment etc, are readily to hand and no one argues that a repair carried out under workshop conditions is preferable to that carried out in a customers' office. Also, it matters not where the customer is located since it still takes 24 hours to deliver. The cost of a repair to a machine reflects the fact that no engineers' travelling time is involved and that makes it considerably cheaper. We offer four types of service support:
